This interview covers gold, the workings of Comex, Chinese demand, the consequences of ETF net buying, Trump's likely economic policies, and the fact that all financial assets are credit.
Thorough as usual. I am deeply indebted to AM for his lucid definition of what is money and what is credit. On that specific front he is my creditor and I am his debtor, chapeau bas- I tip my hat, Credo, I "believe" he is right; as to the remainder of the Political Economy, I beg to differ with Cassandra/St. Thomas, notably on the Political front, but to each his own Karma...c'est la vie! A la vie, à la mort...Noli me tangere! said someone once upon a time.
De gustibus non disputandum.
As to Gold, having neither cellar or land to hide the loot, for some future generation with a metal detector to have a lucky day, I follow another piper. I concur with him regarding intermediaries and won't leave it in some third party vault, whether in London, Zurich, Singapore or Treasure Island. And I fully endorse his no-brainer Royalty option, (though deep down it rankles with the frog in me, kissed once by a ravishing English rose and never the same ever since). My portfolio is heavily tilted with them...Royal gold, of course and most of the others, with a stellar favourite, Vox Royalty, which if not quite vox populi, is close to vox dei, in mining heaven...All is need is to believe, once more, in the integrity of the system...check the etymology of that word, breathe deeply and hold your breath.
Another excellent and inciteful conversation . I really think that ' Tom ' as an interviewer is one of the very best and is truly on top of his game per his questioning and where he takes the person that he's interviewing .
