Don't you find it very frustrating of late that many predictions you and many others have made have not "played out" as would have done under "normal" financial conditions.. It seems to me that the Fed can change the goalposts at the snap of their fingers whenever they feel like it. At any other time this sort of behaviour surely would be outrageous as well as unethical in the banking world. No doubt if you had done what they are doing you would still be in a cell staring at the world through the bars in your window. Anyway, as frustrated as you may be don't you think the outlook, given that this is election year, is pretty much a given until after the reality show has concluded. Surely if the system craters beforehand Powell would not only get a size 12 swiftly up his backside but the blame for "someone" losing the election too. Can he really change the rules that many times to save it? Can the really print into infinity. They seem to think so🤔
I'm in the business of warning rather than predicting. I do not wish my worst fears to be visited on anyone!
As to the authorities' behaviour, they will do anything and everything to keep the show on the road. That should not surprise us!
